We left Atlanta on Wednesday night (04/09) at 10:30 and fast forwarded through the night to arrive in London at noon on Thursday (04/10). You would think that we wanted to get out and hit the sites right away but all we both wanted to do was SLEEP!
After a quick nap we walked across the street from our hotel to grab a quick bite from a traditional British restaurant with a member of the royal family...
After we bid
adue to the "KING" we walked through Hyde Park and then
Kinsington Park next to
Kensington Palace.
Kensington Palace was the birthplace of Queen Victoria and home of Princess Diana until 1997. We hope to have pictures of the interior later later this week but here are some shots from the gardens and park around the palace.

So glad you got there safely. The photos are great...even the "royal lunch".
Yes, leave it to Sir Matt to bring a little class and sophistication to the English culture.
I guess they can't mess too much with the BK. Glad you are there safely.
Be sure to spend so time at Trafalgar Square. That was my favorite place. Piccadilly Circus was a close second.
