Hampton Court and Palace was built by Cardinal Wolsey (advisor to Henry VIII) and when the Cardinal could not convince the Pope and the Catholic Church to approve the divorce that Henry VIII wanted from Katherine (his 1st wife) he took the palace for himself. Sorry I had to throw in a little history for educational purposes.
But when we visited we took it over from Henry VIII. The Steele's would like to welcome you to our new summer home. Come on in and make yourself at home. You might be able to find a bedroom.....or wing to settle in for the night....
That man on the left tried to sneak in for the night so we had to send him to the Tower of London for a little off the "top" if you know what I mean.
And as visitors to our new house we invite you to help us figure out who these weird naked, serpent, flying things are......YIKES!
If you would like to step out on the back lawn you will see our wonderfully constructed gardens...
You will also see a mighty warrior with incredible power and physique and some weird stone guy behind him.You will also see some trees that look like they came out of Super Mario Brothers...After we left our new home for the day we headed back downtown for a stroll around town, where we found a new clock to hang in our house...you might recognize it..LOOK KIDS....
BIG BENPARLIMENT! (for those of you who don't get the movie reference, National Lampoons' European Vacation). I told you I would get it in Jennifer!
We tried to get it over to the new house but the darn thing was attached to some other building....oh well the search goes on for the new clock to go on the mantle. See you tomorrow, y'all come back now ya here!

I love the history lesson with a twist. Glad to see that you have found a "new crib". Can't wait to visit.
