Some culture, Greeks and sites around town...

Well it is Sunday and the day of the London Marathon so we decided to take it easy today and see a few museums and walk around town. It was another rainy day in London so we were ducking in and out of buildings. Here are some of the pictures for today.

WESTMINSTER ABBY
HONEST ABE

CHURCHILL watching over his COUNTRY

NATIONAL GALLERY (way to much culture in there)

BIG BEN
HORSE GUARDS PARADE (London Marathon finishline)
RELICS of ANCIENT GREECE (@ the British Museum)
These guys stole artifacts from everyone around the world and put it in their museum
ROSETTA STONE - this stone was made in 196 BC and contained identical writtings in three different languages, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Demotic and Greek. Because of this stone hieroglyphics were able to be understood.
Hope everyone is doing well back home!
