Oxford in the Rain

So Kyle and I set off for a Sunday stroll in Oxford...well it didn't start out as much of a stroll. For a holiday weekend in the UK, the weather has not been so lovely. When we arrived in Oxford it was pouring rain, we headed to find somewhere for breakfast and to try to wait it out.

So the rain calmed down a bit...but definitely didn't stop so we headed out to explore a few of the colleges of Oxford. First we visited Trinity College, then Merton College and finally Christ Church College. The university is made up of 39 colleges and Merton and Christ Church are two of the oldest and most beautiful. Merton and Christ Church sit near the river and are surrounded by the meadow. We walked down through the meadow paths after the rain had stopped for awhile. Seeing Oxford in person made me really wish I had taken the study abroad trip. Here are a few pictures of the area...
