Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Happy Birthday my sweet husband! I miss you terribly! I am so blessed to have husband who puts up with me :) and encourages me to spend two months away from him just to fulfill one of my own dreams.

Welcome Home, Peter!

Praise to the Lord Most High! Our prayers have been answered. My cousin, Peter returned home from Iraq safely this weekend! Welcome Home, Welcome Home!

Windsor

So Saturday morning I set off to Windsor to meet Kyle and of course wouldn't you know...there is two train stations in Windsor...Kyle was at one and I at the other. So after wasting 30 minutes of waiting....I was a brave little one and walked over to the other train station and PRAISE THE LORD! Kyle was standing right there!

Windsor is a beautiful little town, with great shopping girls! The castle is gorgeous and I completely understand why Her Majesty enjoys this residence so much. But I appreciate her not being there on Saturday...so we could actually get inside!

So a little bit of history for you, Windsor Castle is over 900 years old and it is also home to the oldest order of chilvary, the Order of the Garter. There is a whole ball room in the castle dedicated to the Order of the Garter. They are installed at St. George's Cathedral located on the grounds of Windsor Castle. St. George's is also where Her Majesty's parents are buried and Henry VIII.

But I did get to see my favorite people...even though they were a little scary carrying around those big guns.

don't worry...I got one to hang on my Christmas tree that looks a lot nicer! And just for my honey...the best burger in Britain!! because you know Matt tried every burger in London!

Bad Hair Days

So far the worst part of this trip is....bad hair days!!! last week it was the wind...this week its by the time i get to the first train station I need to go back and refix my hair....here goes six weeks of pony tails!!
